Uni and Events.

Hi guys! SO. I got an opportunity to go to London Fashion Week but...couldn't go. (damn you, responsibilities *shakes fist*) but there's always September :D

Everything's been slightly manic with uni and I feel myself veering off slightly but I'm making it my mission to get as much done as possible without getting overwhelmed...why tends to be my problem. Blah.

Highlight of the past two weeks HAS to be Britain's first Plus Size Fashion Week event, (LPSFW, http://www.lpsfw.com/ ). It was INCREDIBLE. Met so many lovely ladies and bloggers and I'm hoping to keep in touch with them all. Quite regretting not booking for the fashion show otherwise I would've had pictures to post up but I HAVE to mention these amazing mason jar glasses as got as a goodie bag from the lovely women at Lucabella (http://www.lucabella.co.nz/). The glasses are from a New Zealand brand called Aunt Tili (http://www.aunttili.co.nz/) and they were filled with a discount card, pens and really cute wrist warmers <3. I've been using the glasses for...well, pretty much everything. I've been making desserts in them, cocktails, just drinking normal drinks in them...I don't know where they can be bought in the UK, so I'm guarding them with my LIFE.

Oh and again, SHOES! :D just got these today as a gift from a friend and...yeah. Utter babes, they are.

THE PROMISE TO MYSELF

That by the time the next London Fashion Week comes around, I WILL BE THERE. even if to just soak up the atmosphere and take tons of pictures. I might cheekily try to sneak in to a show or two, *AHEM* but for now, watching shows online and dying of envy will have to do.

I was hoping to do a post on the BAFTAS but I sadly found the fashion to be really underwhelming :/ nothing at all made me go wow except Helen Mirren's hair.

Adele in Valentino. Adele, I love you but the one time you wear colour and you give us this?  No.  If it was a  pencil dress and a softer material it would've worked cos I do quite like those shoes.

Jennifer Lopez in Anthony Vaccarello. Didn't like it on Beyonce,  don't like it on Jennifer.  not sure if it's the same designer but the style is not it for me.

Just posted this picture of these fabulous men because...look at them. Usually I tend to have a problem with people who go to fashion weeks putting in a TON of effort into looking ridiculous and calling it fashion but ehh...I like these guys. mainly cos of accessory envy. But yes, I've not posted anything for fashion week as of yet and studying fashion, it's cleary a travesty not to do so, sooooooooo look out for some posts soon.....whoever's reading my blog!

EBAY HAUL!

Soooo...clearly I've not been very good at all, as I'm still buying stuff BUT. I'm not buying much from the high street, I mean why would you when you can find so much on Ebay?? I'll still have to have some sort of sense about how much I buy though otherwise I'll have spent as much as I would do in the shops.

Uni Days....

Hey y'all! Back at uni after what seems like FOREVER and my body refuses to get used to the early mornings -.- plus new modules to wrap my head around, module results (guh.) and money to be spent for said modules(WHERE MY BURSARY AT??)

Yaaaay.....

But on a lighter note, Valentine's day is next week! :D I usually boycott the day mainly because of..singledom and crappy stuff happening around that time but for once, I actually have plans with a certain amazing boyfriend :D look out for a Valentine's outfit post soon!

All Black Everything.

I remebered, I have been a little naughty this week and bought a few pretty things. Mostly black. I'm really getting into a grungy but minimalist look and I know my mom ALWAYS tells me to wear more feminine and pretty things but....no...

I like sharp but messy. I don't like busy prints unless they look dirty. I LOVE black, white and grey.

                     This has to be one of my top 5 favourite dresses I own now. Perfection lives HERE.

I've been wanting these boots for a good two years now but because I'm mad cheap and didn't wanna spend £75 on them, I waited. And waited. Then they sold out. Then I found them in an auction on ebay and got them for a tenner. SCORE!

I really need to get over this.

For ages now I've been promising myself that I'll stard doing pictures of what I wear, but I keep putting it off because, well...I hate taking full body shots. I really do. I've been called 'headshot queen' because I only take pictures from the waist or shoulders up lol. Thing is this blogging business has been interesting. Granted,  I don't do it all that often unless I'm on Tumblr and even that has no pictures of me. I always look at other people's blogs and thing yknow, 'wow I wish I could carry that off' or 'They look so pretty I wouldn't look anywhere near that good'. Sometimes I hide the slight envy with cynicism lol I do say that some of the whole always taking pictures of yourself seems a bit indulgent...sure sometimes it is, but I'd still like to look like that.

I know it's a bit silly, I don't think I'm all that bad looking face-wise but body...meh. It's a long process to get over. But I will, eventually.

Well things are looking up now...

Biggest thing being getting my loan/grant. OHHHH YES.
I did a few impluse buys but most of them have been returned now (damn your small ass sizes, H&M...)
Just decided to buy these on a whim (cos I can do that now. Not often, but yknow.)

I'm so tempted to go on the biggest shopping spree known to man but I'm actually being good for once and looking after my money so I'm just going to buy key pieces I know I'll wear for ages. 

I also succumbed and joined....Instagram. Lord. It's not even really that bad to be honest, it's making me take pictures more often I'll just avoid the types that you always see on buzzfeed or...Bossip.
