All Black Everything.

I remebered, I have been a little naughty this week and bought a few pretty things. Mostly black. I'm really getting into a grungy but minimalist look and I know my mom ALWAYS tells me to wear more feminine and pretty things but....no...

I like sharp but messy. I don't like busy prints unless they look dirty. I LOVE black, white and grey.

                     This has to be one of my top 5 favourite dresses I own now. Perfection lives HERE.

I've been wanting these boots for a good two years now but because I'm mad cheap and didn't wanna spend £75 on them, I waited. And waited. Then they sold out. Then I found them in an auction on ebay and got them for a tenner. SCORE!

I really need to get over this.

For ages now I've been promising myself that I'll stard doing pictures of what I wear, but I keep putting it off because, well...I hate taking full body shots. I really do. I've been called 'headshot queen' because I only take pictures from the waist or shoulders up lol. Thing is this blogging business has been interesting. Granted,  I don't do it all that often unless I'm on Tumblr and even that has no pictures of me. I always look at other people's blogs and thing yknow, 'wow I wish I could carry that off' or 'They look so pretty I wouldn't look anywhere near that good'. Sometimes I hide the slight envy with cynicism lol I do say that some of the whole always taking pictures of yourself seems a bit indulgent...sure sometimes it is, but I'd still like to look like that.

I know it's a bit silly, I don't think I'm all that bad looking face-wise but body...meh. It's a long process to get over. But I will, eventually.

Well things are looking up now...

Biggest thing being getting my loan/grant. OHHHH YES.
I did a few impluse buys but most of them have been returned now (damn your small ass sizes, H&M...)
Just decided to buy these on a whim (cos I can do that now. Not often, but yknow.)

I'm so tempted to go on the biggest shopping spree known to man but I'm actually being good for once and looking after my money so I'm just going to buy key pieces I know I'll wear for ages. 

I also succumbed and joined....Instagram. Lord. It's not even really that bad to be honest, it's making me take pictures more often I'll just avoid the types that you always see on buzzfeed or...Bossip.

MAKEUP REVIEW: Sleek Shangri-la Respect Palette

I love Sleek makeup. I really do, swear no other I have found gives the finishes and results this brand has without being ridiculously expensive. I hadn't bought much makeup for a while, especially after buying a few eyeshadow palettes from ebay (which I'm sorry, kinda sucked.) so I figured 'meeeh, I don't need much else.'

I didn't know sleek had come out with new palettes from PPQ until I saw them at Superdrug so I thought I'd give it a go. I bought the respect palette mainly for the reddish shade (VANDELLAS). Been searching foreeever for a good burgundy colour. I'm in love with the shadows as a whole. Really pigmented even witout wearing primer (do, though. It makes your makeup last for the entire day. I recommend Laura Geller eye primer :) )  Plus the names of each colour, nodding to the Motown era ( XD) 

Just....swoon. Don't be intimidated by the super bright colours either, they're a lot gentler than they look, especially when they are blended with a darker or base colour.

You won't regret buying this. or anything from Sleek, if I'm honest.
